Seeing a need in treating patients who shared his love of the sport of golf, John founded Return to Sport Physical Therapy in 2010. Understanding the physical requirements and the forces that the sport can place on your body helps him customize physical therapy treatment plans specific to you. Specializing in one-on-one orthopedic/sports physical therapy, John’s treatments consist of both manual and movement therapy.
John holds an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Southern Illinois University and a Masters of Physical Therapy degree from Midwestern University. For more than 25 years, he has shared his interest in enjoying a healthy and active life. His achievements include interning at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs where he designed strength and conditioning programs for athletes training for the 1992 Summer Olympic Games. John has also served the Northwestern University athletic department as a strength and conditioning coach for the football program and as a strength and conditioning consultant to the Northwestern University Men’s and Women’s golf teams.
John works with the top Chicagoland area physicians and PGA teaching professionals to provide patients quality care.

As the founder of P.U.R.E. Golf, Cory has dedicated his career to understanding biomechanics, manual therapy, rehabilitation and restorative exercise as they relate to golf. He has been a consultant for many golf schools and has appeared on The Golf Channel as a golf fitness expert. He works closely with top 100 teaching professionals and with clients currently playing on the PGA, Champions, Web.com, LPGA and Futures Tour. Cory has served as a consultant strength and conditioning coach for Northwestern University Men’s and Women’s golf teams and other top NCAA Division I golf programs.
In addition to his TPI Medical Level 3, Cory also holds a TPI Junior Level 3 and a Golf Biomechanist Level 2 certification. He is a certified FMS/SFMA practitioner. He is K-VEST certified Level 2 and former co-certification director for K-MOTION, the company behind K-VEST and K-TRAINER. Cory’s knowledge of 3D biomechanics and golf specific functional training makes him one of the game’s top physical therapists and performance specialists.
